3/11/13 - After a long boring winter, mom decided that Hilde should apply for a job. Well agility training is just that job and Hilde really seemed to enjoy her first night. It was a bit overwhelming heading into a brand new building with lots of new people and new dogs but once she had time to adjust, she did really well. She was quite the brave girl and gave lots of new things a try. She is quite the brave girl if given a chance to adjust first. She had a great time as you can see by her new photos. 7/20/12 - Hilde is still going strong in her foster home. The summer heat brings Hilde's favorite activity which is playing in the baby pool. She loves to dig in the water, put her head under and even the occasional running jump into the pool. 11/23/11 - Hilde is giving many thanks that she found her way to MARR for the chance to find a new family to call her own. She's certainly not complaining, but she's just wondering why it's taking so long. Hilde has been with us since March. She may be a mix at only 40lbs, but she's got all the love that a full size Rottie can offer. She's wonderful with children and after an initial Woof Woof (who are you), she loves everyone she meets. You couldn't ask for a more faithful companion. 9/11/11 - Look at that pearly white smile. Hilde just wants someone to show it to. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy, Hilde would try to climb inside your shirt if you let her. She loves to get as close as she can and definitely loves to give kisses. She is wonderful with children and has been waiting for a new home since February. Please don't make her wait much longer. She is still a puppy at heart but fully potty trained and doesn't chew anything. She is fine in her foster home but would love a home where she doesn't have to push through 8 other dogs to get attention. She enjoys playing with other dogs but can't do cats. She is the perfect rescue dog for folks who think they need a puppy to grow up with their children. She already does great with them and you are totally past the potty/chewing phase. 8/22/11 - Sweet Hilde has started obedience classes a few weeks ago. She does really well with her handler but unfortunately she gets a bit distracted since her foster mom is teaching the class. It's definitely worth mentioning that in just over a month, she has bonded so well to her foster mom. That should definitely help her adjust very well to her new adopters once she finds them. She loves her crate and will sometimes even lay in there to hang out if the couch is full of other dogs and she can't find a spot. Won't you find a place for sweet Hilde to snuggle with you? 7/31/11 - Hilde still gets excited when her foster mom comes home but instead of jumping, she tries to lick her feet when she is wearing sandals. It feels a bit funny, but it's a step in the right direction and way better than jumping up on people. 7/7/11 - Well Hilde has been in a new foster home for about a week and a half now and she has made herself quite at home. She is a little spitfire girl who is always ready to play. She can't wait to get out of her crate when her foster mom comes home from work. She has already bonded and has a bit of a jumping problem because she is so glad that foster mama is home, but we are working on it every day to keep 4 paws on the floor. As soon as she sees a cookie she immediately sits so that in itself is a wonderful training tool. Hilde can quickly worm her way into anyone's heart so please give this tiny girl another look. Check out her new keep away video. LOL, she just loves to steal a toy and make the boys chase her around. 6/25/10 Hilde is one big sweetheart. She loves to snuggle up to people and will hug you if you let her. She gets along with the 6 other dogs she lives with and didn't mind the litter of 4 kittens that wandered by either. She is a bit reserved when meeting new people but comes around very quickly and will be best friends in no time. Hilde is very small for a Rottie mix and is only around 40lbs.
